Mayor Weirs, a longtime pilot, also highlights some of Glendale Municipal Airport’s key services, discusses the important role the airport plays in the community and encourages residents to visit and get involved in its aviation success. Guests on the show include Lt. Col. Linda Yeager of the Civil Air Patrol, who talks about search and rescue operations and youth development programs provided by the all-volunteer 388th Composite Wing; Tito Suazo, owner of Aerosim Aviation which offers aircraft rentals and flight instruction, who speaks about why the Glendale Municipal Airport is such a great place to learn how to fly; Carl Brandenburg of Glendale Aero Services highlights the fueling and concierge services for jet traffic including the Super Bowl and Ken Potts who oversees the Glendale Airport, discusses aviation resources.
